Elizabeth Lewis is the Founder and CEO of Lucidean Capital, where she leads the firm's investment strategy and oversees all portfolio relationships. She founded the firm in 2021 with a conviction that seed-stage enterprise software represents the greatest risk-adjusted opportunity in venture capital. Prior to Lucidean, Elizabeth spent a decade at enterprise SaaS companies in product and strategy leadership roles, giving her a unique vantage point on what makes developer and enterprise tools succeed in competitive markets. Her investment philosophy centers on backing founders who possess both deep domain expertise and the resilience to navigate the long, unpredictable journey from seed to scale.
Partner
Jade focuses on developer tools and infrastructure investments. She previously worked as a software engineer and product lead at enterprise SaaS companies, which gives her a practitioner's perspective on what developers actually need from their tooling. Jade leads technical due diligence and maintains Lucidean's relationships with the developer communities where tomorrow's enterprise companies emerge.
Senior Associate
Luna leads sourcing and due diligence across Lucidean's enterprise SaaS pipeline. She joined the firm from a venture research role where she developed frameworks for evaluating early-stage B2B software companies. Luna manages the firm's inbound deal flow, conducts founder reference checks, and contributes to the investment committee process for all new portfolio additions.
